Privacy Policy

Effective Date: July 21, 2026

Shuttle Tracker (“the App”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information.

Location

The App may access your device location in order to:

We do not collect, store, or transmit your location data. All location processing happens locally on your device, in real time, and is never logged or sent to our servers.

Push notifications

The App uses Firebase Cloud Messaging to deliver optional service announcements (e.g. route changes, delays). To enable this, your device is assigned a Firebase registration token, which is sent to Firebase’s servers - this is what makes it possible to reach your device with a notification. We do not use this token for anything beyond delivering these notifications, and we do not attach any other personal information to it. You can decline the notification permission during setup, or disable it later in your device’s system settings, without losing any other functionality of the App.

Sharing of information

We do not share your location or any other personal information with third parties, beyond what is necessary for Firebase Cloud Messaging (operated by Google) to deliver push notifications as described above.

Children’s privacy

Shuttle Tracker does not knowingly collect, store, or share personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update it here and revise the “Effective Date” above.
